Building Indigenous capacity in cyber and defence.

ISCE exists to create economic pathways that stay in the community. We do this by removing the barriers that have always stood in the way.

Year CP-CSC became mandatory in defence contracts

A new market is forming.

Cybersecurity compliance is no longer optional for companies working with Canadian defence and infrastructure. The Canadian Programme for Cyber Security Certification is now mandatory for defence contractors. Only 46% of suppliers consider themselves prepared. The demand for trained practitioners is immediate and growing.

Indigenous communities have been excluded from this growth. Not because of lack of capability. Because no accessible pathway existed.

ISCE was built to change that. We took the CP-CSC framework and built a practitioner-level training program around everything that does not require a degree. The result is a workforce that defence suppliers need right now and that communities can own long term.

When people do not have to choose between learning and living, they succeed. That is the model. And when a community owns the program that trains its own workforce, the economic benefit stays where it belongs.

A program your community comes to own.

ISCE is not a training vendor. It is an economic development vehicle. Communities progress through three stages toward full ownership and operation of the program.

Stage 01

Training recipient

Your community's members are trained and placed into Canada's defence supply chain. ISCE delivers the program end to end.

Stage 02

Training partner

ISCE trains identified instructors within your community, building the internal capacity to deliver the program yourselves.

Stage 03

Independent operator

Your community runs its own cohorts under the ISCE credential framework. Full self-determination.
